Although the staff team of Project Carz will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off the forum and site, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and not the owners of Project Carz or Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violate of any laws.

The Staff Team of Project Carz reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

The Project-Carz Forum Rules and Conditions Are As Follows:

Please note that as off the 30th June 2010 if any user breaks any of the following rules, the user will be issued with an infraction. Each broken rule will be issued with different amount of points of which will result in a temporary or permanent ban.
Any failure to comply with these Rules may result in your username being banned or your account deleted.

1. Please DO NOT make any abusive, racist or offensive comments in threads, post replies or Private Messages. Any Personal Attacks, either Direct or Implied - will not be tolerated and may result in your account being terminated.

2. Please DO NOT post anything Pornographic or unsuitable for the friendly public site that we operate.

3. Custom Avatars ARE allowed, but please follow the above guidelines.

4. If you wish to advertise your own company or club on the Forum or the links section, please contact management@project-carz.com before doing so. We are happy to allow Companies to advertise on the site after you have contacted us first, and approval has been given.

5. Please try to create all New Threads in the correct Forums. Our Moderation & Admin teams are volunteers and therefore only have limited times to be able to "clean" the site up.

6. Please refrain from "Bumping" topics and "Digging" up old ones.

7. Custom Signatures are allowed, but you must "host" your image elsewhere. Example (Photobucket Account) , please also use common sense. Massive signatures slow the Forum down. The maximum signature size allowed is 500 by 100 pixels. Signatures that are larger than this size or deemed to be to large will be automatically removed by a staff member.

8. This is a Family Forum and not just advertised at Car Drivers. Swear Filters are in use but any posts deemed offensive will be edited or removed.
If you wish to swear on the Forum, then the Swear Filter SHOULD pick it up. If for whatever reason it does not, please use the Report Post Button, and/or PM a Moderator or Admin.
Any excessive Swearing will be dealt with at the discretion of the Management Team and an Infraction will be issued if necessary.

Any attempt deemed as trying to bypass the Swear Filter will also be dealt with, with an Infraction being Issued if necessary

9. Please DO NOT post "Txt spk" "Text Talk" or using only CAPITALS. It may result in your post being removed. If it is too unreadable, replies may be limited.

10. Absolutely no threads about Street Racing will be permitted. Any user posting such topics will be immediately Banned. Project-Carz does not condone any form of Illegal Driving. The Public Highway is shared by Families and Racing puts those people in Danger.

11. Please stay on topic. If you wish to start a new conversation, please start a new topic.

12. The General Chat section is provided for exactly that - off topic conversation. It is not somewhere for any members to gossip about any other members.

13. Project-Carz is not a Dating Channel! Whilst we encourage General Socialising, please keep any flirting etc to the Private Messages System.

14. Absolutely no posts are permitted slagging off the Police Force. Most Car sites, especially Modified ones are monitored by the Police. Project Carz will have no objection to passing on any information in which the Police may request.

15. No links to other Car Sites, Companies or Forums are permitted without prior permission from a member of Staff.

16. Any Social Events such as House Parties, Birthdays etc are no longer permitted on the Forum. This is a Car Forum, not a Networking Site - we have a Facebook Group, please use that for Social Events. If you feel that there is something that you would like to be arranged that would be of an interest and available to the WHOLE community, please PM an Area Rep or a Member of the Management Team.

17. If you've got constructive or nice to say, don't say anything! Simple, If you are going to be critical, please try and make it constructive. "Looks 'naff" is rather pointless "Not to my taste, but fair play" is more appropriate, for example. There is way to much moaning and whining on the Forum and this is not what it is here for.

18. If you have a problem with another member please take it up with the person off the forum via a method such as a PM and/or email. If this method does not resolve your conflict please inform the staff and they will do everything they can to help resolve the problem.

19. If you have a problem with the site in general please speak with any Staff Member and raise your concern.

20. Please pay attention to the other Rules in place, including Club Stand Rules, Convoy Rules and the Market Place Rules.
